20:00 - Jun 14

On 14.06 Recyclart will organise a lecture 'Greetings from liquid city' in Bruges. This lecture will take place in a temporary pavilion, which the Spanish architects Selgascano are constructing in Bruges. Our speakers for the evening will be AMALE ANDRAOS (Dean of GSAPP at Columbia University) and DAN WOOD, from the renowned office WORK AC ( New York), who will talk about their contribution to 'Liquid City', in particular to the project "Floating City". This project was presented for the first time at the Chicago Architecture Biennale in 2015, by Work Ac together with Ant Farm, an artists' collective from the 1970s. Work AC and Ant Farm have together collected 40 year old archives and drawings and then completed this archive with new drawings, views and proposals. What remains of these utopias and how are they being revisited today?
