In order to offer the programme to the target group as much as possible, Bruges Triennial cooperates with various partners and experience experts. For example, audio descriptions of the twelve installations were developed for people with visual impairments.
The offer for guided tours was also extended to include tours for people with visual impairments in which a specifically constructed story and the feeling and experience of the works themselves are supported by various tactile elements.
Route descriptions for people with reduced mobility
Triennial Bruges also wants to make strides for less mobile people. This is not a matter of course, as the Bruges city centre itself already offers quite a few challenges for people with physical disabilities. TRIBRU24 has therefore chosen to display the current situation as best as possible in a specific itinerary.
All these tools are available for free online and via QR codes on our info pillars, located next to the works. The directions can also be picked up free of charge at the Central Info Point of Triennial Bruges in In&Uit. Audio guides are available in English and Dutch.
