On Thursday 16 May, Cinema Lumière Brugge and Bruges Triennial organised an exclusive screening of Big Ears Listen with Feet, the high-profile documentary by renowned architects and filmmakers Bêka & Lemoine about the life of Boonserm Premthada, founder of Bangkok Project Studio. Before the start of the film, the architect interacted with co-curator Shendy Gardin, including about his work for Bruges Triennial, The tower of balance.
The film took viewers on a frantic journey through the concrete jungle of the Asian metropolis of Bangkok. A journey through dense slums, past temples and some of his impressive projects taught attendees more about Boonserm Premthada's life and how his deafness led him to develop an alternative way of listening.
