Plantartica children’s workshop

Cooking workshop with Marlow

How can we eliminate food waste? During this engaging demonstration, Marlow will show you how to make delicious meals using food scraps. You’ll pick up countless tips and be inspired to use them at home. You will then prepare your own vegetarian minestrone soup with bread balls. We’ll eat together afterwards, family-style.
‘Old Fashioned’ performance by Monali Meher
13:00 – 16:00 (continuous) I Arentshof
For her interactive performance ‘Old Fashioned’, artist Monali Meher paints kilos of potatoes with words like ‘Hate’, ‘War’, ‘Racism’ and ‘Violence’. She invites visitors to collectively peel, cook and eat the potatoes.
High noon tea with Sam Serveert

During this plant-based high noon tea, Sam demonstrates how to be planet-friendly(er) with food and lets you taste the goodies nature has to offer.

The lights go down at 19:30. From then on you can dance under the stars in the Arentshof and in the atmospheric 17th-century Arentshuis. The music ranges from Borokov Borokov’s crazy beats to the quirky CDs of our special guest DJ: artist Guillaume Bijl.
